We have created trips on the Nam Khan, Nam Ou, Nam Suang, Nam Pa, and Nam Ming rivers. From one day to four, we have the gear, the guides, and the support for your needs. We mostly operate our tours around Luang Prabang.

Other regions are possible such as Luang Namtha in the far north of Laos or Vang Vieng south of Luang Prabang in central Laos.

Majestic Nam Suang River kayaking excursion around Luang Prabang

Begin this water excursion by Landrover, minibus, or local car with a 90-minute drive north along narrow, winding mountain roads, dodging mudslide mounds and stray buffalo. Filled with banana and teak trees, the ubiquitous jungle brimming with nature is nothing less than breathtaking. Pass handfuls of isolated thatched roofed villages, remembering to turn your head at the sight of communal bathers and noting that you are the only vehicle on the road. Giddy school children duck their heads at the roar of the engine and bystanders ogle in the face of diversity.

Arriving at a Lao Loum village, we are received in mass. We begin the rafting portion of the excursion that will guide us past a beautiful riverside waterfall, a surfaced sandbank for a delicious lunch, through several navigable rapids bound to excite the senses, and into numerous native encounters and a dip with the naked, swimming Lao Loum children; engaging in the much needed physical exercise if you wish to work when others choose to play is entirely up to you.
